Intermediate Wheel Throwing August - Thursday Session (4-Week Series)

Have experience on the pottery wheel and want to deepen your knowledge? Want to learn new, advanced techniques to take with you on your pottery journey? This is the class for you! Our Intermediate Wheel Throwing Class Series will take the building blocks taught in our Beginner Series and expand upon them.

Over the course of the series, you will learn how to throw large, open forms (vases, pitchers, etc.); how to throw large, closed forms (jars with lids); how to use surface design techniques when trimming; and how to use glaze surface design like bubble glazing and layering.

All clay and glazes are included in the price. This is a 4-week class, 1.5 hour each session, on 4 consecutive Thursday evenings starting at 6:30 pm.

IMPORTANT: AGES 14+. MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE/COMFORTABILITY THROWING 1.5 LBS+ ON THE WHEEL AND/OR HAVE TAKEN OUR BEGINNER SERIES. When booking, please select all four available weeks of the series to complete the checkout process.
